3/10/2010 - All I can say is if you want medicore there are plenty of hotels down the street and I am glad that I didn't make the mistake of booking with them. I wanted the best and so thankful that I booked with your property at the Elegante Hotel. 3/8/2010 - I have visited the Elegante in Odessa on a previous visit where I had a minor complaint with the hotel. I emailed the General Manager, Mrs. Marka Washburn, to address this issue just to let them know of my problem so that they did not have the same problem in the future with their guest. Within 10 minutes of sending this email, she replied to me offering her most sincere apology and then asking the best question any manager could say, "How can I make this Right with You?" I loved the fact that she was asking me this question as to just assuming that I wanted a credit on my bill so she just be done with me. It was important to her that I would come back for a future visit. Customer Service does still actually exist! Not only did she comply with my request, but also offered me a discount on my next visit. Now that is customer service! We now have such a great relationship and I email her directly every time I need a future reservation. She meets all of my requests and also calls me after every visit to make sure that everything was to my satisfaction during my previous stay at her hotel. Thank you Ms. Washburn and also Thank You Elegante Staff! I use to visit another hotel in Odessa, but I can promise that you now have a customer for as long as my business requires travel to Odessa. ~C Rose
2/9/2010 - I don't know about most travelers, but I am clean freak! I have never stayed at a hotel where everything was so clean from the public areas to my room! I have stayed at various hotels in the area and I have finally found the hotel that I wish was located in every city I have to visit! I wish I would have found you sooner! I also love the Bath & Body Work Amenities and the Starbucks Coffee. Thank you for the larger coffee makers! The 10 Cup coffee makers are so much better than the small 4 Cup Coffee Maker that you find in any hotel across the country. The most important thing was the Mattress. All I can say is "WOW!" Where can I buy one of these mattresses for my home? The Elegante...offiicially my Home away from Home. Please keep up the great work! ~S Watts
1/15/2010 - I never thought that I would get the best nights sleep I have had in a long time! Most hotels offer a mattress that feels like you are sleeping on a board, but not the Elegante! This is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on and even woke up late the next morning because I just didn't want to get out of bed. This hotel is outstanding enough as it is, but to offer this type of mattress was outstanding. Isn't a place to sleep the most important thing to any traveler? Isn't this what a hotel is for? You would think that mattresses would be the biggest investment for any hotel since this is why their customers are there! I don't care where they travel. Thank you Elegante for exceeding my expectations and you can count on the fact that my next visit is going to be a relaxing getaway as to a business trip. I can't wait to visit your spa. Who would have thought that I would want to go to Odessa for a vacation? A vacation is about relaxing and catching up on sleep. 1/14/2010 - I visited Odessa for a funeral of one of my best friends. As you can imagine, I was very emotional and I have to say that I never expected the kind of hospitality I received from the Elegante in Odessa. When I made my reservation, I let the person I spoke with know the reason I was visiting Odessa. At that time they offered me their condolences and to please let them know of anything I might need during my visit. I appreciated their kind words and never thought in a million years that everyone I came across with their staff during my visit would also offer me such kind words for my loss. How in the world did these people know why I am visiting your hotel? This proved to me that your hotel really cares about their guest and that I am not just another customer to them! Why can't you find customer service like this, and for that matter, caring people anymore? Thank you Elegante Hotel! You made such a hard time for me a delightful visit and I do plan to come see you again under better circumstances. 6/15/2009 - I am a traveler that basically lives in hotels due to the requirements of my job. I stay in many hotels across the country and trust me when say that NONE of them compare to the quality of this hotel and in Odessa, Texas. You have great customer service, extremely clean rooms, and excellent overall accommodations. I sleep better here than I do at home. The matresses are outstanding!! Your staff remembers my name everytime I walk in the door from the bellman to the front desk staff and even some housekeepers. You see so many guest, yet your staff remembers my name, the request I want everytime I stay, and even give me my favorite room every time I visit! I don't even have to remind them of these requests. You will receive great service even up to the General Manager, Ms. Marca Washburn. I email her my reservation needs and she promptly replies with my confirmation number. Where do you have a hotel that the General Manager personally takes care of you and any request you might have? Like I said, I travel all over the country and I don't receive this type of service from any hotel even in larger cities where you expect exceptional service because of the ridiculous rates you pay. If you want to settle for less and pay similar prices then I guess the other hotels in Odessa / Midland is where travelers need to go. If you want a wonderful nights sleep, great accommodations, and most importantly great customer service, that most of us don't think exists anymore, then the MCM Elegante in Odessa is the hotel to choose. 6/1/2009 - I am one of those travelers that is extremely picky about a hotel. Cleanliness is very important to me as well as the service I receive. I want any business to appreciate the fact that I am their customer and the Elegante in Odessa did just that! If you want a hotel in Odessa that offers unacceptable service & accommodations, then I encourage you to stay somewhere other than the Elegante. If you want great service & accommodations, then the MCM Elegante is the hotel for you. When making my reservation online, I never thought I had a chance to win so this was a wonderful surprise. With the extra money I saved on my guest room, I booked a massage at the Getaway Spa and it was GREAT! My room was extremely nice and the staff was a pleasure to deal with. 5/17/2009 - My company, whom I work for, uses the Elegante for all of our employees we have that visit Odessa. I live in Ft. Worth and always look forward to my visit. I travel everywhere across the country and Odessa is the place where I talked my husband into coming to for a weekend getaway. He thought I was crazy until he saw first hand the service and accommodations the Elegante in Odessa provides. 5/7/2009 - The Bed Rocks! I can't believe I sleep so well in a hotel and probably better than I even do at home. The atmosphere of the hotel is very elegant and relaxing in every way. Thank you for the great customer service you provide me every time I visit Odessa. We have an office in Midland, but it is worth driving 15 minutes to Odessa just to stay at the Elegante. 5/6/2009 - I really enjoyed my stay at the Elegante in Odessa and the $1.00 I received for my room was very unexpected. The staff was very friendly and appreciative of the fact that I was their customer. The rooms are nice and clean. I also couldn't believe how quiet it was when it was obvious how busy they appeared to be when I was checking in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

5/5/2009 - There was an error in my billing and was suppose to receive the Government rate. The staff took care of my issue in a timely manner and it was WAY more than I ever expected. Thank you so much for this! I really was only expecting the bill to be reduced to the Government Rate, but the hotel did much more than this. I was VERY impressed with your hotel, facilities, and staff. I will certainly stay again and also in any other cities you are located. Again....Thanks for your kindness. 5/4/2009 - We really enjoyed our visit at the MCM Elegante Hotel. We had one minor issue with our stay, and when I say minor..it was minor, however the staff showed such care and concern to make sure we were completely satisfied with our accommodations. Upon reporting our issue, after the front desk called to check on our satisfaction of our room after check-in, we were immediately issued another room in which the front desk reported the problem and their bell staff promptly came to our room and moved us to another room without any requests to do so. This all happened within a matter of about 10 minutes. Why can't you find customer service such as this anywhere anymore? The room we occupied was wonderful! I will be recommending the Elegante in Odessa to everyone I know who travels to the area. Thank you for showing my husband and I that customer service is not something of the past! ~Sue Krindle
5/3/2009 - The $1.00 Promotion I received during my visit to the Elegante was nothing compared to how the staff helped lifted my spirts during my checkout of the hotel. I was speaking to a manager, who actually took the time to visit with me about my stay and she made me feel like family. My family and I have endured very difficult times in the last couple of weeks, as most of us have during this recession. She listened and gave me such words of wisdom. I can't begin to express my gratitude for the genuine concern that was expressed and have to say that I have never received this type of customer service anywhere! I left the Elegante feeling better than I have in quite some time. I can't thank the Elegante enough for such a wonderful visit, and well, the rest speaks for itself! Thank you again! ~Julie Wylie
5/3/2009 - $1.00 for a room at the MCM Elegante...OUTSTANDING!!! I can't believe I actually won something and at one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed! Whether you are trying to book for this fabulous deal or not, the rooms and service you will receive are worth every penny! My husband was recently laid off and I was just wanting to treat him to a nice getaway. The visit, not only lifted our spirits, but the $1.00 we paid couldn't have been more appreciated during such a difficult time for our family. Thank you Elegante! 5/2/2009 - The Elegante in Odessa is exactly what everyone has told me about the comfort and cleanliness of the guest rooms, but I have to say that is not what impressed me the most. I travel everywhere across the country and besides finding a nice hotel, like the Elegante, Customer Service is what is most important to me. It is difficult to go anywhere anymore, as sad as it is to say, and find a staff who actually cares that I am their customer. The Elegante went "Above and Beyond" in every aspect starting with the shuttle driver who was extremely friendly on my ride to the hotel. The front desk staff welcomed me with a smile and thanked me for choosing their hotel and then called my room after I checked in to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. The restaurant staff welcomed me to Odessa and the food was wonderful. The following morning, upon check-out, there were several people waiting and the General Manager of the hotel was introducing herself and asking about everyone's visit. She made a point to thank me, as she did others in line, and hoped I would visit again in the future. This is the type of service I wish I could find ANYWHERE anymore! Thank you Elegante for a truly exceptional visit. To say you are a 4-Star Hotel is false...there needs to be an extra star next to your name! 5-Star all the way! Keep up the great work. ~Gina Jackson
5/1/2009 - My husband & I had reservations at another hotel in Midland, not Odessa, when we made our reservations. Upon flying to Midland, an airline attendant let us know of the Elegante and informed us that there was absolutely no where else we would want to stay. All I can say is, "She was right!" I have never had such customer service at any hotel, even in larger cities in which we travel. The rooms were clean and I loved the Poster Beds with a Mattress that was as comfortable as the one we have at home. There was Starbucks Coffee and Bath & Body Work Amenities in the room, the restaurant had an all you can eat Seafood Buffet that was outstanding, and the Fire Pit at the pool was simply gorgeous and relaxing! I hope to see this wonderful flight attendant again so that I can Thank her for recommending the MCM Elegante! Anyone traveling to Midland or Odessa would be crazy to stay anywhere else! ~Anna Chestnut
5/1/2009 - We were totally shocked when we checked in and got our room for just $1.00! WOW!! Then we went to our room and it was just beautiful! The lounge was very nice with extremely comfortable chairs and a wonderful staff. The restaurant was the best!! The food was prepared perfectly and the prices were more than fair. 4/25/2009 - This is by far the Best Promotion I have ever seen from any hotel! I travel everywhere and have seen all kinds of offers, which are in most cases very confusing and not easy to obtain. This $1 offer is simple and easy once I signed up for the hints to be emailed to me. The best part is the hotel itself! The rooms are clean and very nice. 4/23/2009 - I have always heard about the Elegante when I travel to Odessa, but this was the first time to visit. I have stayed at all the other hotels in the area and none compare to the Elegante! I loved the rooms, the restaurant was wonderful and certainly not what you would expect to find in any hotel. My company travels to Odessa often and all I can say is that this will be our Hotel of choice in the future. Thank you Elegante for a very relaxing and wonderful stay! We were not even aware of the $1.00 deal offered until we checked in and the staff was so excited for us that we received this wonderful deal. 4/21/2009 - The Elegante is by far the Best Hotel in the Permian Basin! We did try to win the $1.00 per night offered through their website, but were not so lucky. We were still not disappointed with the accommodations they had to offer. The price was still fair and very competitive with the other hotels in the area. The Elegante also has so much more to offer with a Spa & Salon, which serves Starbucks Coffee, and the Fire Pit by the pool is awesome and so relaxing!! 4/21/2009 - My husband and I booked an evening at the Elegante to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We did not receive the $1 rate upon making our reservation, however when we checked into the hotel they informed us that they were happy to give us the $1 deal since they had not met their room allotment for the evening from all the reservations made for the night of the 20th through their website. This deal is for real and so is this hotel! The staff lived up to the reputation we have always heard so much about and the rooms are gorgeous.
